Admission Procedure

The college has been ranked continuously as one of the top law colleges in India by the leading national media houses. Ranking by leading media houses in 2017: 1. ‘India Today’ ranked the college as 3rd Best Law College in the South Zone and 12th best Law College in India. 2. ‘The Week’ ranked the college as 4th Best Private Law College in South Zone and 11th best Private Law  College in India. 3. GHRDC ranked the college as the 3rd Best Law College in Southern region and 9th Best Law College in India. 4. ‘Careers 360’ ranked the college as the 10th Best Law College in India. 5. ‘The Outlook’ ranked the college as 24th Best law College in India. 6. The KLE Law College has been recognised by the Bar Council of India as one of the top five Law Colleges in the country.
The preferred mode of admission is through LSAT India Entrance Test and CLAT score. Candidates selected through LSAT shall be admitted before  July 10, 2018. Candidates with high score (above 70 %) may walk-in for a personal interview, for direct admission. Applications are also invited from merit candidates. Selection Lists are published as per the below schedule: First Selection List –  June 4, 2018 Second Selection List – June 25, 2018 Final Selection List – July 16, 2018
1. BALLB, BBALLB and BComLLB : PUC / 10 + 2 or equivalent with 45% marks and 40% marks for SC / ST candidates  only. 2. Three Year LLB: Any degree or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC / ST candidates only. 3. PG Diploma Courses: Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks for SC / ST  candidates only. 4. Certificate Courses in Law and Medicine and IPR: PUC / 10 + 2 years of education with 45% marks and 40% marks  for SC / ST candidates only.
i. SSLC/10th Marksheet Original ii. PUC / 11th Class Original marks statements iii. PUC/12th Class Marksheet Original iv. All Original marks statements of graduation degree (Only for 3 year LLB) v. Transfer Certificate vi. Migration Certificate (Only for out of State Students) vii. Provisional Degree Certificate/Convocation Certificate viii. Aadhar Card ix. Four sets of photocopies of all the above documents x. Four passport size photos

Hostel facilities for Girls and Boys are available on first come first serve basis. Fees: Rs. 50,000/- per annum, Mess charges approximately Rs. 4000/- per month on dividing basis.
