Library:
The college Library is housed in the
college building and is well equipped with law textbooks and
periodicals. The college library has around 11,554 books on variety
of law subjects. The books are classified and catalogued according
to universal standards for easy reference and retrieval. The unique
paper clipping service is offered by the library.The Library is kept open from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M on all working
days and from 9.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M during Saturdays and vacations.
Students can borrow one book at a time on their borrower’s cards,
periodicals are meant for reference and not home reading. Borrowed
books should be returned on or before the last date mentioned by the
library authorities failing which he/she shall be liable to pay
fine. This would be utilised for the benefit of the poor students.
There are beneficial schemes. The eligible students may borrow
additional books. The schemes will be notified from time to time.
E-Library/Internet Lab

Keeping pace with the new technology is
need of the modern era. To upgrade the knowledge of the staff and
students, we inaugurated e-Library on 10th April 2005 and
installed 18 latest computers. The library is now equipped with
various legal materials on CDROM which runs into 42 in numbers.
To facilitate the student’s in legal research, the Internet facility
is made available with other software. The systems are identified
for the purposes. We have Grand-Jurix, Laws Super, SCC Online and
CDROM on various legal and current topics like Test your Aptitude,
Brain Teaser, Psychometric Test, Economics and Political Review,
Webster’s New World Dictionary, Company Laws, Labour Laws, Indian
Major Acts, Legal Deeds, Will Maker Britannica the
wonderful language, E-Karnataka Enactment, Personality Development.
The Employees State Insurance Act etc and also access to online
journals. |
