Legal Awareness Programme:
To spread legal awareness among common people, faculty members and students of K.L.E. Law College conducted legal awareness programmes in different degree and Pre-University colleges and cyber cafes in and around Bangalore. Under the said programme, students were trained to give guest lectures on different legal topics. Accordingly students visited Colleges/Cyber cafes and created legal awareness on different subjects like Hindu Law, Law of Contracts, Consumer Protection Act, Dowry Prohibition Act, Factories Act, Information Technology Act. The following colleges/ Cyber were covered under said programme.
- M.E.S Arts, Commerce and Science Degree College, Bangalore.
- Vidhya Vardhaka Sangha First grade college for women Basaveswaranagar, Bangalore.
- B.G.S Science Pre Degree College, Magadi, Bangalore
- S.L.V Communications, cyber café Rajajinagar, Bagalore.
- M.B Cyber Café, Rajajinagar, Bangalore
CENTRAL JAIL VISIT
The college organized a Central Jail visit to final year students on 9th November 2006. The students had an opportunity to look at the living conditions of prisoners, they interacted with a few inmates. The Authorities explained various social welfare measures adopted by the state for betterment of criminals.
