Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:
Dr.Chaitra Prasad.M.D’s academic qualifications are Ph.D. (Political Science) from Bangalore University on the Topic “Swadeshi in the Era of Neo- Colonialism: A Study of the Khadi and Village Industries Corporation with Special Reference to the Promotion of Khadi in Karnataka” under the Guidance of Prof. JEEVAN KUMAR, Professor of Political Science (Retd.), Bangalore University Bengaluru., M.A (Political Science) M.A (Kannada), M.Ed. (Education), PGDGS(Post Graduation Diploma in Gandhian Studies with 2nd Rank and PGDAS(Post Graduation Diploma in Ambedkar Studies) from Bangalore university. He has Cleared UGC-NET in Political Science (4 Times 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2016) and SLET in Political Science (2011) and Education (2012). He has 12 Years of Teaching experience of teaching for Both UG and PG Students. Also Served as PG-Coordinator and HOD Dept of Political Science, Bangalore North University Kolar (A clone of Bangalore University), HOD and Assistant Professor at National College Basavanagudi. He Wrote 23 International and National level Research Papers, published in reputed journals like EPW, Journal of Social sciences, Living Sociology, Samwada, channayakya, etc… Also authored 07 Books titled 1. Indian Constitution (2015), 2. ಮಹಾತ್ಮನ ದೃಷ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆ (2016), 3. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧಾನ (2017) 4. Indian Political Process and Contemporary Political Issues (2017), 5. Contemporary Political Analysis (2017), 6. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಿದ್ದಾಂತ ಮತ್ತು ದಾರ್ಶನೀಕರು (2018) and 7. Swadeshi and other insights (2019). He is a Recipient of the “Udayonmuka Kavi” award in 2006 from Rangasiri Shaitya Katte Bengalore, Recipient of the award “Best Teacher of the Year-2013” from Bangalore City Graduate Teachers Association and recipient of the award “Best Young Researcher” in 2016 from Gandhigram Rural University, Tamil Nadu.
