K.L.E. Law College, Bengaluru, a constituent college of K.L.E. Technological University, Hubballi, is pleased to host the National Selection Round – India of the Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition (B-M ICCC) 2027. It is organised by the Moot Court Committee and the ADR Committee.
About the Competition
Louis M. Brown founded the first Client Counselling Competition for law students in 1969. The American Bar Association recognised it in 1972, and its international edition began in 1985. The International Competition was named in Brown’s honour in 1993. In May 2010 the title changed from “Client Counselling” to “Client Consultation”. The Competition is now affiliated with the International Bar Association.
It is held annually and brings together national champions from around the world. In 2027, the International Rounds will take place in British Columbia, Canada, hosted by the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. The International Rounds of 2027 are scheduled for 28th April – 1st May 2027 and will focus on the theme of “Theft”. Students from more than 30 nations, including India, have taken part over the past decade.
The Competition develops law students’ interviewing and counselling skills: engaging with clients, identifying key issues and proposing well-reasoned solutions.
